Should you be under the age of eighteen (18), you acknowledge and confirm that you have obtained the express permission of your parent or legal guardian to enter into a binding agreement by accepting these Terms and Conditions and utilizing our home tuition services.

Commission
-
A one-time commission of 50% of the first month will be payable by the tutor but collected directly from the client. The tutor shall not collect the commission on behalf of the agency.
-
WiseTutor reserves the right to change the commission amount should there be any change to the lesson schedule within the first 4 weeks of lessons.
-
Lessons postponed during the first 4 weeks will not affect the commission. (eg. For a month of 4 lessons, if 1 lesson was cancelled due to any reason, commission will still be based on 4 lessons)
-
WiseTutor reserves the right to change the amount due to non-fulfillment of tutor’s obligations or other reasons. Clients are liable to pay tuition fees for all lessons delivered, regardless of how satisfactory the lessons are.
Postponement and Termination
-
The minimum commitment period of an assignment is 1 month. In the event of any termination after the first lesson and during the first month, the tutor will receive 50% of payment for all attended tuition hours. However, if the termination was due to the fault of the tutor, the tutor will bear the full commission charge.
-
For any termination by the client before the first lesson, the party undertaking the termination will be legally liable for administrative fees no less than the equivalent of the first lesson fees, to be paid by the due date specified in the invoice. If the termination was due to the fault of the tutor, the tutor is legally liable for administrative fees no less than the equivalent of two lesson fees.
-
Any changes in the frequency of lessons in the first month of lessons must be made known to WiseTutor, to which adjustments to the commission amount will be made.
-
Any postponement must be made at least 24 hours before the first lesson. Please reach out to WiseTutor as soon as possible for us to inform the parent.
-
If the client fails to turn up for the lesson without informing the tutor at least 12 hours in advance before the start of the lesson, the client will be liable to pay 50% of 1 lesson’s worth of fees to the tutor.
Cheating
-
We have zero tolerance for any form of cheating. WiseTutor reserves the right to terminate your assignment with immediate effect with no payment made for lessons conducted.
